Attenborough Nature Reserve
Today I took a bus, I like to get good use out of my bus pass, and started further down river just passed the rugby fields, in a set-by field. My luck payed off. I saw lots of good birds before I even reached the field. And as I suspected the scrubby field revealed a pair of Stonechat. From there I then walked back up river to the reserve proper. From the hide, you know how you wait ages for a bus, then 3 turn up. Well just lately I've not seen the Bittern for ages and then 3 turn up!
Bittern, Buzzard, Stonechat, Bullfinch, Goldcrest, Mistle Thrush, Goldfinch, Grey Wagtail, Tree Creeper, Wigeon, Goosander, Usual.
