7th June '08 North Cave Wetlands

North Cave Wetlands

Have you noticed how few and far between the first sightings are becoming. Well we've still got plenty left on the list, and I suppose thats when the twitching starts. But get a load of this. Just when we wondered where the next one was coming from, North Cave saves the day. Bacon butties all round chuck. :-
CORN BUNTING*, LITTLE GULL*, Whitethroat, Redshank, Ringed Plover, Sedge Warbler, Reed Warbler, Reed Bunting, Buzzard, Skylark.
The Skylark was singing merrily away in the stubble field backing onto the site.
