Attenborough Nature Reserve.
View across Clifton Pond from the new hide.
The new hide is now open and an excellent job it is too. The views are overlooking the reed beds on the Cllifton Pond side and Wheatear Field on the other. Some nice curtains and a bit of shagpile and I won't want to go home. I could have spent hours looking at the warblers. All the talk there was of the Buff Breasted Sandpiper that had been seen yesterday. I'd spent yesterday at the other end of the reserve so missed out. Apparently its the first ever sighting on the reserve. Still I enjoyed my day, the highlight being the four Buzzards circling over Banshill Hill.
