Very low cloud, rain.
Dalby Forest - Staindale Pond
An attractive little oasis in the middle of Dalby Forest on the southern edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. There are many routes into the forest but we always do the Forge Valley one and take in the bird feeders on the way, not to mention the beautiful scenary. The weather was very wet and this didn't help our sightings. :-
Siskin, Grey Wagtail, Wren, Chaffinch.
Normally Chaffinch would have come under Usual, but as you can see we're struggling on this one. I'm tempted to add the Mallards!
