Some sun, mainly cloud.
Humber Peatland - Thorne
On our way home we decided to check this one out. To say how rare this lowland habitat is, it was badly sign posted, no parking and after a 2 mile trek when we finally got to the moor proper, the paths were impassable. There was a post there with what should have been leaflets of the peatland. But this didn't look as though it had been attended in years. The peatlands from what we could see of them looked beautiful. But as I said the path was totally inaccessible. What a waste. One day I will go back for a more thorough expedition on my own. Margaret's not too keen on wading through elephant grass! :-
Not even the Usual.
