North Landing
A delightful place just up the road from Flamborough Head. Beautiful chalk cliffs surrounding tiny inlets with beachs. If you're a bit hard up for cash as we always are, you can park on the cliff top down the lane just before you get to the public car park at the landing proper. This takes you to Thornwick Bay. When its busy in the summer there is usually someone at the entrance to this lane eager to relieve you of a £1. But you can park all day right on the cliff edge. Don't forget to leave your handbrake on if you go birding while the mother-in-law stays in the car watching the gulls! :-
