24th June '08 Peasholme Park, Scarborough

Peasholme Park, Scarborough

The park is situated at the northern end of the promenade. It has a small boating lake, a large cascading waterfall and a pretty walk up a tidy ravine. Parking is easy, there is a cafe, ice-cream vendors and toilets. The perfect place to take the grandkids without it costing a packet. Oh yes, the birds. They are there alright, but at this time of year are hard to see, and don't they know it.
I'm sure they all follow you, unseen, and calling you names, and laughing their little heads off. The varmints. :-
Tree Creeper, Chaffinch, Greenfinch. (see what I mean?).
