Wollaton Park
A lovely sight.
My visit here today was to get some decent pictures of the bluebells before they are gone. Its just as well because I didn't see any birds! My only sighting of any note was a Reed Warbler in the rushes beside the lake. That in itself is a first for me on this park.
Early on there was no sunshine and this did not help. It then decided to rain for a change. For at least an hour, during which time I remained under a tree and spotted the only other birds of any note, Longtailed Tits. Finally the sun appeared and I was in business. The pictures speak for themselves.
Reed Warbler, Longtailed Tit, Swift, Swallow, House Martin, Sand Martin.
