12th April '09 Filey Dams

Cold, rain, slight breeze.

Filey Brigg
The light is fading.

I suppose it is inevitable that the local arseholes would find this place so they can have a fag in the peace and solitude of the hides. I hope they dropped a coin in the collection box on their way out. The other Little Dickie Bird is into Snipes now. She's spotting them everywhere at the moment. I'm trying to get her into Grasshopper Warblers now! When we got to the small pond between the hides we were surprised to see Mallard chicks running across the water. I'm still thinking we haven't done with winter yet. What lovely views as the sun takes its leave for the day.

Its nearly bedtime.

Redshank, Teal, Snipe, Little Grebe, Oyster Catcher, Lesser BBGull, Herring Gull, Mallard Chicks, Dunnock, Pheasant, Shelduck, Cormorant.
