Netherfield Lagoons.
Deep Lagoon.
Another beautiful day and not a cyclist in sight, just watch where you're walking though. I had to step over two piles of dog turds within the first hundred yards on the path. Although things were fairly quiet I had some good photo oppurtunities, particularly of the Sedge Warbler, Willow Warbler and Linnets.
The lack of bird activity is more than made up for with the beautiful wild flower displays, and the increasing emergence of dragonflies. At this time in the birding calendar between the occassional sightings it is worth diverting interests to other things, such as the wild flowers, (at least they don't fly off), dragonflies and butterflies.
