Brompton Pond.
Looking from the far end of the pond towards the church.This is only a stones throw from the main Pickering to Scarborough road and being only a small pond can be taken in when in the neighbourhood. Besides which the village itself is very pleasant and worth checking out. Which is what we did as there was very little in the way of birdlife either on the pond or in the surrounding trees and fields.
