July 3rd '10 Fraisthorpe Beach and fields.

Hot, sunny, breezy.

Fraisthorpe Beach and fields.

Looking across Bridlington Bay to Flamborough Head.

This stretch of beach a few miles south of Bridlington is probably best visited during the spring and autumn migrations. We decided to check it out while having a lazy beach day. Firstly we were very surprised by how popular the place is and how nice the beach is. Its a perfect place to bring the kids, lovely sand and safe waters. And don't worry, despite what you may have heard, its a not naturist beach. Sorry to disappoint you.

I wonder where those swans are heading.

Linnet, Meadow Pipit, Skylark, Rook, Sand Martin, Hare.
